The application period for the 2009 Scholarship is from February 1 through April 30, 2009. Scholarship candidates are being selected on the basis of academic achievement, work experience, financial need, personal statement of goals and aspirations, community service, letters of recommendation, and NSHMBA ambassadorship. ELIGIBILITY - Applicants must:
- Be United States Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
- Be of Hispanic heritage
- Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) from either a bachelors degree or masters degree. OR have a minimum grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) from a bachelors degree in combination with two years of full-time work experience.
- Be current NSHMBA member. (Student Member ID required. Applicants who are not currently a NSHMBA member may apply now at the applicant rate. Click here to sign up)
- Be enrolled in a graduate business program in a college or university in the United States or Puerto Rico, accredited by the AACSB (AACSB International) at the time of award.
