Twenty-seven top Hispanic executives and professionals provided the latest updates in six major MBA Career Specialties to a record-breaking audience of 360+ aspiring MBAs.


H.I.R.E Workshop


Hiring Procedures, Interview Process, Resume Preparation & Evaluating An Offer - popular new workshop-design enlightened an overflow crowd of 175 MBA hopefuls regarding the employment process & Towers Perrin initiated the first RESUME FIX-IT CENTER.


HACR Corporate Best Practices Workshop:

Research Report in Hiring & Advancement of Hispanics


Equipped over 75 Corporate Human Resource Reps with the 84-page research manual, "Hispanic Workforce: 2001 HACR Corporate Best Practices" commissioned by Verizon Foundation with presentation by NSHMBA's own Dr. Donna Blancero.


Star Volunteers


Dedicated and flexible volunteers and San Antonio Organizing Committee and Leaders filled a record-breaking 385 three-hour shifts to contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the Conference.


Top Tributes


Six Recipients were honored with the prestigious Brillante Award, 170 Students received $615,000 in Scholarship Awards, and Seventeen distinguished NSHMBA Leaders were inducted into the Executive Circle as Honorees.
