UNIVERSITY CHAPTERS

WHAT IS NSHMBA UNIVERSITY CHAPTER?

2015 marks the launch of undergraduate university chapter efforts at NSHMBA. In an effort to take the expertise we have gained in professional development and networking to a new audience, NSHMBA is opening its membership and its support to students in the university environment.

Measured on promotion of membership and execution of development and/or networking events, University chapters will help to deliver a message of advancing Hispanics in educational achievements on campuses across the country. In return students become part of a network of new and experienced business professionals with connections to companies and organizations who celebrate high performing Hispanic talent.

Similar to our professional chapters, NSHMBA is committed to creating a structure of support and a network of opportunities for young students pursuing their education in all fields and interests and is excited to welcome these new individual to its ranks.

WHO MAKES UP A UNIVERISTY CHAPTER?

Individuals interested in joining an existing university chapter or who desire to start one on their own campus, can join either Active University Chapters or University Chapter At-Large. To view the benefits of being a member click here.

In addition to student members, University Chapters are asked to be supported by a faculty or staff member who serves as an advisor to the group. This person receives a professional membership for their contributions of time.
