Ms. Martha Poulter, Vice President and CIO, GE Capital

Martha is Vice President & Chief Information Officer for GE Capital with global responsibility for the Information Technology strategy, organization and delivery of customer value through technology. Prior to this role Martha was Chief Information Officer of GE Capital, Americas. This business provides financing for equipment, inventory and franchises; fleet services and M&A, buyout and restructuring capital to companies in over 40 industries, including healthcare.

Martha’s career spans a range of information technology, e-Business, and Quality leadership roles at Southern New England Telephone Company and GE including CIO of GE Capital Solutions, an equipment leasing and lending business, and the Chief Information Officer and Quality Leader for GE Corporate Financial Services, a structured lending business.

Martha served for three years as the national co-leader for the GE Hispanic Forum. She is an active member of the GE Women’s Network and a member of the board of directors for the Hispanic Federation and Norwalk Community College Foundation. Martha graduated with a B.S.E. degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Connecticut and completed her M.B.A. at the University of New Haven.








Josue "Joe” Robles, Jr., President and CEO, USAA

Josue "Joe" Robles is president and CEO of USAA, one of America's leading financial services companies. USAA has been serving military families since 1922 and has become well known for its exceptional service, offering its nearly 10 million members a comprehensive range of insurance, banking, investment products, financial advice and planning services.

Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, Robles joined the U.S. Army in 1966. For the next 28 years, he served in a variety of command and staff positions, including director of the Army budget and commanding general of the 1st Infantry Division (the Big Red One). Robles was a USAA board member from 1990 to 1994 while on active duty, and joined USAA in 1994 as special assistant to the chairman after retiring from the U.S. Army as a major general. He was named CFO and controller later that year. He assumed the position of president and CEO in 2007.






 


#Lionel Sosa

Lionel Sosa, Partner at Sosa&Sosa is an independent marketing and Branding consultant. He is the founder of Sosa, Bromley, Aguilar & Associates, which became the largest Hispanic advertising agency in the U.S. He is an acknowledged expert in Hispanic consumer and voter behavior.  

Sosa was named "One of the 25 most influential Hispanics in America” by Time Magazine and is a member of the Texas Business Hall of Fame.  

Lionel was a senior media consultant for Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and George W. Bush. He has served on the teams of eight national Republican presidential campaigns.  

He edited "Children of the Revolucion- How the Mexican Revolution Changed America”, distributed by the University of Texas Press, authored "Think and Grow Rich, a Latino Choice,” as well as "The Americano Dream: How Latinos Can Achieve Success in Business and in Life.” Sosa is co-author of "El Vaquero Real- the Original American Cowboy,” and a contributor to "Latinos and the Nations Future”, edited by Henry Cisneros.  

Sosa has served on the Board of Regents of The Texas A&M University System, the Board of Trustees for the University of the Incarnate Word, the Boards of Sesame Workshop, creators of Sesame Street, ACT (American College Testing) and the Public Broadcasting System. He chaired both the United Way of San Antonio and the San Antonio Symphony and was Executive Director for the grass roots foundation, Mexicans and Americans Thinking Together.  

Lionel was a Fellow at the Institute of Politics at Harvard University in Cambridge and was awarded an honorary PHD in Humanities from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio.  
         




#Ms. Lilian Perez, NBC Telemundo, Moderator

Lilian Pérez es originaria de la Ciudad de México.  Hija de una maestra y un periodista, llegó a San Antonio con su familia ya que su papá, Germán Pérez, era el corresponsal del periódico Excélsior y el representante del estado de Tamaulipas en Estados Unidos.  

Lilian obtuvo su Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Comunicación de la Universidad de Incarnate Word, además de la Carrera Técnica en Bellas Artes del Colegio Palo Alto, ambas en la ciudad de San Antonio.  Pérez también cuenta con una Licencia Estatal para impartir clases de modelaje y actuación.  

Profesionalmente, Lilian fue la encargada del Departamento de Prensa del Consulado General de México en San Antonio y la Directora de Comunicaciones para la Asociación de Contratistas Hipanos – una organización sin fines de lucro.  También ha sido empresaria ya que tuvo una boutique por más de doce años, misma que recientemente cerró para dedicarse de lleno a su puesto como Presentadora del Tiempo en KVDA Telemundo.  Lilian además cuenta con casi 10 años de experiencia radial al producir y conducir sus propios programas matutinos en diversas estaciones locales.  Su nombre radial es Pinky Lily.  En el 2005, de acuerdo a estudios realizados por la empresa radial en la que trabajaba en ese momento, "Pinky Lily” llegó a ser la locutora número dos en el mercado hispano en la ciudad del Alamo.  

Pérez ha trabajado como actriz, narradora y maestra de ceremonias en diversas obras de teatro y presentaciones como Rosa de Dos Aromas, Frida: Un Canto de Dolor, Mariachi Vargas Extravaganza entre otros.  Además de proporcionar su voz por más de diez años en diversos comerciales – incluyendo el ser la voz en español de los comerciales de radio y televisión durante los días festivos para los supermercados H-E-B.  También fue maestra de modelaje, actuación y desarrollo personal para la cadena nacional Barbizon USA.  

Actualmente, Lilian es la Presentadora del Tiempo y Entretenimiento para los noticieros de las 5 y de las 10 de KVDA Telemundo San Antonio.
