Job Description: The Vice President position will be responsible for the following programs in the overall Annuities business:
(1) Information Security,
(2) Records Management,
(3) Business Continuation, and
(4) Vendor Governance.
These programs focus on the protection of resources from business, systems and financial perspectives. The objective is to ensure the Annuity business is protected, able to persevere in times of difficulty and is in compliance with company policies, standards and procedures related to these programs. The position is responsible for achieving a coordinated effort with all the functional areas of the Annuities business as well as across the broader Prudential Corporate and Business Unit groups. The position will report to the CIO and SVP of Operations.
Oversee monitoring/compliance of Information Security control standards
Oversee monitoring/compliance of Vendor Management program/policies
Review external service provider security questionnaires in partnership with the Information Security Office and review and assist the business in performing Vendor Due Diligence to identify and assess the risks to information accessed or maintained by a vendor. Yearly site visits are performed by the incumbent.
Oversee monitoring/compliance of Business Continuation/Pandemic programs
Oversee monitoring/compliance of Records Management
Manage the budget for the department
Five or more years experience in one or more of the following disciplines: information security, business continuation or vendor governance.
The ability to execute against a broad business strategies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated success in supporting organizations outside of one’s own direct authority
At least five years of managing employees who were at the director or manager level
