It's cinematic, it's thought-provoking, it's celebratory!  


  • 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. – Capital One reception in the Capital One Mclean Atrium that will bring together leaders who are working to understand, define and solve gender issues in the Tech industry.
  • 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. – Screening of CODE: Debugging the Gender Gap. This film explores the reasons for a lack of American female and minority computer science engineers and raises the question – what would we gain from having more women and minorities code? Capital One was one of the leading sponsors in the production of this film. 
  • 6:30 - 7:15 p.m. A dynamic panel will explore some of the key themes and solutions from the documentary. Panelists will include: 
  • Robin Hauser Reynolds, CODE Director/Producer
  • Julie Elberfeld, Capital One Commercial CIO and Champion for Women in Technology initiatives 
  • Lyn Muldrow, Recent grad of Opportunity Fund at GA
  • Sarah Allen, Project Manger at 18F and is also featured in the documentary
  • Kim Snipes, Vice President Consumer Products and Operations Technology at Capital One
