Executive Summary



The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) Washington DC Chapter is holding one of their signature events, the Executive Leadership Program (ELP).  The 2015 ELP event will focus on Executive Leadership Skills in the Public, Private and Nonprofit Sectors and how various leadership styles can significantly impact those around you.  This year the Executive Leadership Program (ELP) will consist of Part I & Part II.  Part I of the ELP will entail an executive level keynote speaker and one workshop.  And Part II of the ELP event will involve a panel of executive level speakers and one workshop.


The programs for this event are designed to promote a creative dialogue among a diverse group of leaders and share best practices in managing high demand organizations as well as offer opportunities for attendees to grow professionally via two workshops.  NSHMBA DC has also partnered up with Vanguard who will facilitate an Executive branding workshop and 1776 will provide an entrepreneurial focused workshop that will focus on how to build highly scalable businesses.  1776 is a global incubator who focuses on helping startups with seed funding and transforming industries that impact millions of lives every day.

Building your Executive Framework: Developing your Executive Leadership Skills in a High Performing Diverse Workforce through Personal Branding and Entrepreneurship

 

Purpose:


Develop the tools needed to create your own executive framework by understanding various leadership styles that will make a significant impact on those around you. Discover ways to motivate others and how to build an adaptive team and organization. Awaken your entrepreneurial spirit and get advice from experts on gaining a renewed appreciation of your own potential. The Executive Leadership Program (ELP) is designed to promote a creative dialogue among a diverse group of leaders in various sectors and share best practices in managing large organizations and being your own boss.

Professional Development Workshop #1

 

Participants will learn about techniques to discover their personal brand and influence at the executive level.  Through group work and interactive discussion, participants will be challenged to understand how to best leverage their brand to build successful business partnerships and serve diverse work teams.  All who participate in this lively workshop will have a new appreciation for the importance of knowing what they stand for, what they want to do and how to get there!
