Margaret Arakawa
General Manager, US Windows & Devices
Microsoft Corporation

Margaret Arakawa is the General Manager for US Windows & Devices and is responsible for driving marketing for Windows PCs, tablets and phones. 

Prior to her current role, Margaret was the General Manager for Windows Phone where her team drove consumer and business marketing for Windows Phones in the US. 

Margaret joined Microsoft in 1999 in the worldwide Windows group and gained increasing responsibility for business strategy, product planning and product marketing in the Windows Phone, Security & Access, SQL and Windows Server business groups.  

Prior to Microsoft, Margaret worked at Intel in their Mobile/Handheld Products Group and was an account director at CKS Partners where she managed Internet strategy for retail, telecommunications and financial services.  In a past life, Margaret worked for Bloomingdales in New York City as a buyer and merchandiser.  

Margaret holds a B.S. in Applied Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
