Thank you for your interest in submitting a manuscript to the BJHR! We appreciate very much your intention to share your research with our readers and look forward to offering you a double-blind, peer-review experience that seeks the highest methodological quality and usefulness of content. Articles in the journal are expected to contribute to the mission of the National Society for Hispanic MBAs, the sponsor of the BJHR, which reads “to foster Hispanic leadership through graduate management education and professional development in order to improve society” (visit www.nshmba.org to learn more about NSHMBA).
The BJHR serves as a bridge between research and practice on any business area relevant to Hispanics. Using best-available scientific methods and evidence, it informs not just Hispanics about new findings in the business disciplines, but also society-at-large on the situations, problems, opportunities and solutions faced by Latinos on all functional business areas (e.g., Corporate Governance, Mentoring, Strategic Management, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Human Resources, Information Technologies, Education, Operations, Consulting, etc.). All manuscripts must be formatted in APA style (see www.apastyle.org for details) and include implications or guidelines for practice. Only unpublished papers not under consideration elsewhere will be considered for publication; your submission signifies your knowledge and acceptance of this condition. Copyright of published papers will be vested in The Business Journal of Hispanic Research.
Submissions to the BJHR are evaluated through a double-blind review carried out by the editorial board, which is composed of experienced business executives and researchers. Manuscripts are expected to report both a rigorous, state-of-the-science methodology and a pragmatic, actionable purpose to serve the BJHR readers. Main audiences for the BJHR include: (a) Practicing Business and Academic professionals (of any ethnicity) interested in Hispanics as a source of talent or a growing market; (b) Students enrolled in business and other programs at the executive, graduate and undergraduate levels; (c) Professionals and executives with decision-making responsibilities in areas such as marketing, diversity and inclusion, policy-making and others.
